KTM doesn't really build a dual sport; it builds an enduro race bike and just tacks on the legal minimums like a headlight and mirrors for the US market. Underneath that street-legal veneer, you are still looking at a 510.9cc liquid-cooled single with WP Xplor suspension and Brembo brakes. It is either exactly what you want or a very expensive misunderstanding.
